Refund Policy

Md Academy School

We are committed to providing high-quality online education and tutoring. This refund policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and respectful of both students and instructors.

1. Course & Program Registration (Online Classes)

✅ Full Refund

A 100% refund will be issued if:

  • The student cancels within 48 hours of registration, and

  • The course has not yet started, and

  • Less than 10% of the course content has been accessed.

🔄 Partial Refund

A 50% refund may be issued if:

  • The student withdraws within the first 7 days of the course start date, and

  • Less than 25% of course content has been accessed.

This accounts for administrative costs and reserved instructional time.

❌ No Refund

No refunds will be issued if:

  • More than 25% of the course content has been accessed

  • The course has progressed beyond 7 days

  • The course is labeled short-term, bootcamp, exam crash course, or intensive

2. One-on-One Tutoring Sessions

✅ Cancellations

  • Sessions canceled at least 24 hours in advance are eligible for:

    • A full refund or

    • Free rescheduling

⚠️ Late Cancellations

  • Sessions canceled less than 24 hours in advance are non-refundable

  • One-time exceptions may be considered in genuine emergencies

❌ Missed Sessions

  • No-shows are not refundable, as tutor time was reserved exclusively

3. Technical or Service Issues

If a student is unable to attend or participate due to:

  • Platform outages

  • Instructor unavailability

  • Verified technical issues on our end

➡️ The student will receive a make-up session, credit, or refund, depending on the situation.

4. Instructor Changes or Schedule Adjustments

If we make significant changes to:

  • Instructor assignment

  • Course schedule

  • Program structure

➡️ Students may request a full or partial refund, depending on progress made.

5. Special Consideration Clause (Fairness Clause)

We understand that unexpected situations happen.

Students may submit a written refund request for:

  • Medical emergencies

  • Family emergencies

  • Exceptional circumstances

Each request is reviewed case-by-case, with fairness and empathy.

6. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days

  • Refunds are issued using the original payment method

  • Transaction or processing fees (if any) may be deducted

7. Agreement

By registering for a course or tutoring session with Md Academy School/Tutor, students and parents/guardians acknowledge and agree to this refund policy.
